Results of poll regarding “In God We Trust” on coins

A few weeks ago, I posted a link to an MSNBC Poll which was asking if the words “In God We Trust” should be removed from US coins.

I am pleasantly surprised to see the results:  A WHOPPING 87% SAID NO!

Knowing that the source of the poll is a liberal news outlet, and seeing that over 14 million votes were cast, I believe this is a significant picture of what the vast majority of the country is thinking on this issue.

I encourage you to look at the results.

By the way, if voting NO on this issue makes people right wing extremists, all I can say is the extremists may not be a fringe group.  This represents a lot of voting and economic power, and the 17% of the population who didn’t agree, may find that they have awakened a sleeping giant.
