Are homeschoolers susceptible to the dangers of the Internet?

One might think that homeschooled children are less likely to get into trouble while using the INTERNET since their parents are more involved with schooling and day to day activities.

It is my experience that students taught at home still share in many of the troubles that afflict the larger population, although perhaps to a lesser degree.  it is critical for parents to take an active role in guiding their children, no matter what form of education they embrace.

Anyone who is not savvy to the dangers of the INTERNET is susceptible to becoming ensnared in unwholesome endeavors.  Some children who don’t have as much influence from public school counterparts may not be aware of the many ways that predators can sneak into their on-line experience.
