Homeschoolers!  Are you looking for some fun art projects for the kids during the long hot summer months?

Angie Platten is an art teacher at Covenant Home School Resource Center who specializes in unique art experiences which teach skills in a fun and practical manner.  She has two classes set up, the first for July and the second for August.  Space is limited.


Students in this class will have fun learning a variety of techniques painting “graffiti style” on unstretched canvas. They will learn a simple book binding stitched to create their own unique and personal journal. These are great for journaling thoughts, ideas, drawing, photos, or telling about their summer vacation! Also a great gift idea for friends! Once students learn the basics of creating a handmade book, they can explore other materials to create one-of-a-kind books at home.
