Here is a great idea for a homeschool field trip (not limited to homeschoolers–open to anyone) complete with free food and lots of fun.

Friday July 9 is the annual Chick-Fil-A Cow Appreciation Day in which the whole family can get a FREE meal.

What’s the catch?  Simply come dressed like a cow to any Chick-Fil-A restaurant on July 9!  That’s it!  You wil get a free combo meal for either breakfast, lunch or dinner. (Don’t worry about looking silly.  Everyone else will, too, but hey!  It’s free food and a great time!)

To make the dressing up even easier, Chick-fil-A has provided a downloadable template that can be cut out to make your own cow outfit.  You can also choose to create your own masterpiece, but you must be dressed in black and white from head to toe.
