Are you needing a hands-on experience for your homeschooler which will give her leadership skills and fuel her creativity?  What about activities that will hone her “socialization skills” in areas such as confidence, perseverance, ability to gain information from others, and expertise in completing a project and being able to present it well?

These are a part of the skill set that students will gain as they get involved in the 4-H programs which are available in the Phoenix metro area and around the country.  The 4-H organization has its roots in early agri-science dating back to 1902, and was a vehicle to teach new farming ideas to adults by first teaching them to children.  Today, the focus has broadened to include:
