Homeschoolers find answers to college questions in one place: The College Depot

The College Depot in Burton Barr Library in Phoenix may be one of the best places homeschoolers can visit if they are looking for answers to college prep questions.  Although only open for about a year and a half, this one-stop resource for everything about college has helped over 5000 people.  The services are all free, and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and willing to spend time with individuals in whatever phase of the college search they may be.

Services of College Depot include:

  • Guidance on financial aid and scholarships
  • Career exploration
  • Selecting a college
  • Compiling your college application
  • Completing your FAFSA form
  • Use of on-site computers and software replete with wonderful information for all parts of the college journey

Numerous workshops are offered each month, and homeschool groups are encouraged to attend these or set up a field trip to come in and use the the plethora of free resources.
