Students who take college courses while still in high school receive dual enrollment credit–high school credit to count on the transcript for high school completion, and  college credit to whittle away at the requirements for a degree.  This can be a great time and money saver, and is perfect for homeschoolers who are ready for more challenging work.  Even better, Southwestern is offering a special rate of $125 per credit hour for qualifying homeschoolers, instead of the standard $636 per hour.

Southwestern college has long been a favorite destination for homeschooled students, and has many connections to the homeschool community.  Moezart Productions, a homeschool theater group started by Southwestern alumni who had been homeschooled themselves, was birthed there.  The new college president is Len Munsil, who is a homeschool dad of 8, and was the former founder and president of Center for Arizona Policy.
