Homeschool mom as guidance counselor helps students enter honor societies

Are you homeschooling high schoolers?  If so, you probably have lots of questions about all the steps needed for getting your students ready for college.  Homeschool parents need to wear a multitude of hats during these years, and it can be easy to go on information overload.

Here are a few recent questions about college prep for homeschool students in Arizona.

I have been looking for information for my duaghter who is currently a homeschooled Junior.  As I have read in one of your articles, basically, I am trying to be guidance counselor/teacher/mother . . . and I need guidance myself.

First, I would like to see if she is eligible for the National Honors Society for Homeschoolers based on her transcript.

There are two honor societies which admit homeschoolers, and although the criteria are similar, each has a different focus.
