Ariz. Christian University has full scholarship opportunities for homeschoolers

Getting a college education is becoming more costly, and private schools are nearly impossible for some students if they don’t have scholarships.  Many Phoenix area homeschoolers choose to attend Arizona Christian University, formerly Southwestern College, and full-time costs for 2011-2012 ran nearly $28,000, with this breakdown:

  • Tuition and fees:    $18,968
  • Room and board:   $   7374
  • Additional fees:     $     756

Fortunately, the school, now under the leadership of former homeschool dad, Len Munsil, offers a variety of scholarships, and they actively seek homeschool students to apply for these awards. Currently, there are three full tuition scholarships remaining.
